Hendricks Power Hosts 2023 Annual Meeting
July 1-20, 2023, Hendricks Power Cooperative hosted its 87th Annual Meeting & Member Appreciation Event on Thursday, July 20, at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds. The event included a board of directors’ election, an electric vehicle demonstration, a live line safety demonstration, family fun activities, co-op updates, giveaways, and a chance for members to win prizes.

2022 Annual Meeting Results
July 1-21, 2022, Hendricks Power Cooperative celebrated its 86th Annual Meeting by hosting its online hybrid board of directors’ election. Cooperative members were invited to vote online via their SmartHub account or during the Hendricks County 4-H Fair on Thursday, July 21st. Members who registered to vote received ten dollars in fair food vouchers and a chance to win one of five 500-dollar bill credits.

Save the Date: HPC Annual Meeting
Mark your calendars for this year's annual meeting! The annual meeting and member appreciation event will take place at the Hendricks Co. 4-H Fairgrounds on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 11 am to 8 pm. The event will feature many member favorites, including Silly Safaris, electric vehicle demonstrations, an electrical safety demonstration, balloon animals, face painting, and voting for our Board of Directors. Members who register to vote will receive $10 in fair bucks to use at any food vendor and will also be entered to win one of five (5) $500 energy credits.

Interested in Becoming an HPC Board Member?
As a cooperative, Hendricks Power is guided by its Board of Directors, which is made up of member-owners like you! Board members are elected by other members in a democratic vote. This year, geographic areas 1, 2, and 3 are up for election.
Due to recent growth, our geographic areas have been updated to better represent and serve our members. The current areas up for election include Guilford, Center, and Lincoln townships in Hendricks County. If you are a Hendricks Power member and reside in these areas, you're eligible to run!

2021 Annual Meeting
July 1-22, 2020, Hendricks Power Cooperative celebrated its 85th Annual Meeting by hosting its first-ever online hybrid board of directors’ election. Cooperative members were invited to cast their vote online via their SmartHub account, drive-thru at the Hendricks Power office or South Putnam High School, or during the Hendricks County 4-H Fair on July 22nd. Members who registered to vote received a ten-dollar bill credit and a chance to win one of five 500-dollar bill credits. Members who registered at the fair also received ten dollars in fair bucks to use at any food vendor.

Hendricks Power Drive-Thru Voting & Annual Meeting 2020
Avon, IN —July 20-23, 2020, Hendricks Power Cooperative hosted its first-ever drive-thru board of directors' election in anticipation of the Annual Meeting held on July 23rd. Cooperative members were invited to cast their vote via drive-thru at the Hendricks Power office or during the 4-H Exhibit Showcase at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds. Members who registered to vote received a $10 energy credit and were also entered in a drawing to win one of five (5) $500 energy credits.

2020 Annual Meeting
To say that life has looked a little different over the past couple of months would be quite the understatement. The impact of COVID-19 has changed our daily lives in many respects and will be felt for quite some time. Hendricks Power Cooperative has also faced its challenges, as our foundation is built upon our community, our friends, and our neighbors. We have taken many steps to ensure the safety of our employees and members and have implemented many additional practices to help those in need.
