Hendricks Power Cooperative employees made a meaningful impact this week by distributing holiday break bags to local blessings boxes, an initiative sparked by the organization’s commitment to addressing food insecurity among students during school breaks.
Hendricks Power Cooperative and its members help non-profits receive funding to benefit the local communities we serve. Over the past few weeks, donations have been made by Hendricks Power, the CoBank Sharing Success Program, and on behalf of Operation Round Up.

Sharing Success Matching Grants
Hendricks Power Cooperative announced that CoBank has matched three donations to support local organizations. Hendricks Power and CoBank each donated $1,500 to the Danville Shared Blessings Food Pantry, $1,000 to the Avon Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry, and $2,500 to the Hendricks Co. Fairgrounds for midway lighting upgrades.
