Registration for the 2023 Danville Police and Fire Summer Camp, sponsored by Hendricks Power Cooperative, will open on February 1, 2023, at 7:00 PM. The camp is open to any Danville youth ages 9-13 currently registered with Danville Community School Corporation or homeschoolers within the Danville district.

This year’s camp dates are July 24th to the 26th, from 8:00AM-3:00PM daily at Ellis Park. The cost of the camp is $50.00.

The popular Hendricks Power Ball Drop takes place at the end of the Misty Eyes Bow Wow Bash. 200 tennis balls will be dropped from a Hendricks Power Bucket Truck, while the official canine ball retriever selects the lucky winning ball.

The person who purchased the winning ball will win two tickets to the 2021 Indianapolis 500 and an overnight stay at the Indianapolis Airport Marriott, along with lots of valuable gift cards (valued at over $700)!
