Youth Tour Applications Open; Commitment to Community Scholarships Coming Soon

Hendricks Power sponsors multiple youth programs each year to empower and educate the younger generation in our community. This year, we will continue supporting the Commitment to Community Scholarship and Youth Tour. 

Commitment to Community Scholarships will be awarded to current high school seniors. Applications open January 1, 2026. The co-op will award six scholarships, each worth $2,000, toward college tuition or a school of higher education. Applications require an essay, high school transcripts, and a letter of recommendation. Completed applications are due by March 6, 2026. 

Youth Tour is a week-long, all-inclusive sponsored trip to Washington, D.C., that provides current high school juniors with the opportunity to visit historical sites throughout the city and meet with Indiana's congressional delegation. Applications are now open, and the trip will take place from June 14-21, 2026. Applications are due February 13, 2026.
