Eligibility
- Eligible Applicants: 501(c)(3) non-profits, community groups, schools, civic organizations, and emergency services directly benefiting residents in Hendricks Power's service territory.
- Ineligible Applicants: Political campaigns, candidates, parties or partisan activities, administrative or operational support, individuals, sectarian, denominational or religious organizations for support of theological functions.
Funding Scope
- Approved Uses:
- Youth & Education: Programs promoting STEM education, youth leadership development, scholarships, local school initiatives, and safety education.
- Health, Safety & Human Services: Support for local first responders, emergency services, hunger relief, housing security, and family support organizations.
- Community Enrichment & Sustainability: Local parks, trails, environmental conservation, historic preservation, and community beautification projects.
- Civic & Economic Development: Community festivals, local chamber events, and initiatives that promote local economic stability and civic engagement.
Priority will be given to community programs that promote energy efficiency, conservation, and electrical safety awareness and/or use funds to help contribute to the overall betterment of the entire community.
Required Submission Materials
Submit all documents at least 30 days prior to the requested date:
- Application Form: Fully completed contact and organization details submitted online.
- Financial & Tax Documents: Up-to-date W-9 with Tax ID Number, any supporting sponsorship packets, letters, and/or quotes from contractors for specific work.
Please note, a W-9 is required for ALL monetary sponsorship requests. Incomplete documentation will cause a delay in sponsorship processing.
