Do you know someone making a difference in Hendricks County? Nominate them for the national Touchstone Energy Who Powers You Contest!
In partnership with Touchstone Energy Cooperatives, Hendricks Power is pleased to announce the fifth annual #WhoPowersYou Contest, celebrating local heroes. It’s a chance for Hendricks Power members and employees to nominate someone making a difference in our community and an opportunity to celebrate the power of human connections. In addition to being nationally recognized, nominees can win up to $5,000 for the cause they champion.
The Youth Power and Hope Awards program honors Indiana students in fifth through eighth grades who are leaders in their communities. Past winners have raised funds and collected donations for Riley Hospital for Children, started a coat drive for the less fortunate, raised funds to cure diabetes, and developed a program to provide police officers with stuffed animals to comfort children in crises and much more! Could a community-minded youth you know be one of our next winners? Encourage him/her to apply!
August 11 is just one day a year, but Hendricks Power hopes that it will be a natural reminder for residents to call 811 before a digging project any day.
Be sure to allow two full working days’ notice after submitting your request online or by calling 811 to ensure locators have time to mark underground utilities.
Please join us in voting for your Board of Directors for areas 4, 5, and 6. Voting will take place via a no-contact drive though. After voting, members will receive an automatic $10 bill credit as well as a chance to win one of five $500 bill credits.

Tuesday, July 21st: 9 am - 6 pm
Wednesday, July 22nd: 9 am - 6 pm
Thursday, July 23: 9 am - 3 pm
