Reflecting on the experience, students were proud of their teamwork skills and individual growth; “I have learned from robotics this year what teamwork feels like. I have friends beside me that I can trust and count on to encourage me and help our team," Abdul, Brentwood student.

“We are so glad the students were able to have this once-in-a-lifetime experience,” says Dana Cochran, Director of Marketing and Member Engagement at Hendricks Power, “We are so proud of their dedication and commitment to STEM programs and can’t wait to see where their futures take them.”

The Hendricks County Community Foundation was also able to donate $15,000 to support the team in its participation in the championship.
