Do you know someone making a difference in Hendricks County? Nominate them for the national Touchstone Energy Who Powers You Contest! 
In partnership with Touchstone Energy Cooperatives, Hendricks Power is pleased to announce the fifth annual #WhoPowersYou Contest, celebrating local heroes. It’s a chance for Hendricks Power members and employees to nominate someone making a difference in our community and an opportunity to celebrate the power of human connections. In addition to being nationally recognized, nominees can win up to $5,000 for the cause they champion.
To nominate a local hero in Hendricks County,  members and employees can go to whopowersyou.com and submit their nominee’s name, photo, and a brief description of how they make a difference in our community. Nominations open on September 5. Only members and employees of a cooperative are eligible to nominate. An independent panel of judges will select winners based upon the positive impact they make on the community, creativity of the entry, and the number of votes they receive. 

Prize money totaling $9,000 will be awarded to the following winners:
Grand Prize Winner: $5,000
Second Place: $2,000
Third Place: $1,500
Honorable Mention: $500
