HPC Completes Meter Upgrades

Hendricks Power is proud to announce the completion of our system-wide meter upgrade project. The project involved swapping out almost 30,000 meters, along with the supporting infrastructure over the past five years.

The new metering system provides multiple benefits to our members including:

Outage Efficiencies

The new meters communicate with the cooperative when power is out, allowing us to respond and restore outages more efficiently. In some cases, your power may be restored before you even know it has gone out!

Strengthen Reliability

The new meters provide a communication network through our system that will help our crews identify hazards and correct them before they cause outages, which means more reliable power for members.
