Where do you live? 
I live with my wife Debbie just east of Brownsburg in area 3.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy camping, boating, golfing, and spending time with my kids and grandchildren.

Tell us briefly about your background and what led you to join the board. 
After graduating from Brownsburg High School, I started my farming career with my dad and brother. My uncle, who served on the board, inspired me to join. He spoke highly of all the ways the board could help the members and how it made a difference in the community. These reasons prompted me to pursue serving the cooperative.  

Which Cooperative Principle most strongly resonates with you?
The cooperative principle that resonates the most with me is democratic member control. I value the fact that any member is eligible to run for the board and that, as a board member, you represent every member of the cooperative, not just the members in your area.

What is your biggest contribution to the board?
My most significant contribution to the board was the years I served as the board president and had to lead through some challenging times with finding and hiring a new CEO. Hopefully, my years of experience and dedication will continue to be an asset to moving the cooperative in the future.
