2026 Serve on the Board of Directors

Lead Hendricks Power with purpose, serve as a Director

As a cooperative, Hendricks Power is governed by its Board of Directors, which is made up of member-owners like you! Board members are elected by other members in a democratic vote. This year, Areas 4 and 5 are up for election, along with an At-Large position.

Our geographic areas were updated in 2024 to better represent and serve our members. The At-Large position may reside in any territory aside from Area 6.*

If you are a Hendricks Power member and reside in Areas 1-5 or 7, you're eligible to run! You can find your board district on the top center of your monthly statement or on our map below.

Board Members serve three-year terms and attend monthly board meetings to discuss and decide on current cooperative affairs. They affect important decisions about rates, renewable energy, financial plans, and overall co-op strategy.

How do I run?
