HPC Announces 2026 Scholarship Winners

Hendricks Power Cooperative is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 Commitment to Community Scholarships, an annual tradition that honors local students who go above and beyond in the classroom and their communities.

Congratulations to the 2026 recipients:

•    Autumn Muncy – Danville High School
•    Becca Rogers – Brownsburg High School
•    Elizabeth McPhillips – Brebeuf Jesuit School
•    Gunner Roach – South Putnam High School
•    Jasmine Duvall – North Putnam High School

Each student will receive a $2,000 scholarship to support their continued education at the college or vocational school of their choice. Recipients were selected for their academic excellence, compelling application essays, and personal achievements that reflect the cooperative’s values of community, service, and leadership.

To celebrate their accomplishments, Hendricks Power hosted a recognition dinner on May 21, where students and their families gathered with cooperative leaders to reflect on the journey so far—and what’s ahead.

“Every year, our applicants continue to raise the bar,” said Emily Thomas, Marketing Manager at Hendricks Power. “Their academic success is impressive, but what stands out most is their dedication to serving others and making a positive impact in their communities. We are excited to see what the future holds for each recipient and wish them the best in their future endeavors.”

Hendricks Power remains committed to supporting local youth and investing in the future of the communities it serves. Congratulations to the class of 2026!
