HPC Announces 2025 Scholarship Winners
Hendricks Power Cooperative is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Commitment to Community Scholarship—an annual tradition that honors local students who go above and beyond in the classroom and in their communities.
Congratulations to the 2025 scholarship recipients:
• Adelyn Wyndham – Avon High School
• Calleigh Neal – Avon High School
• Connor Taylor – Avon High School
• Kendell Ohaya – Plainfield High School
• Morgan Walters – Tri-West High School
• Susanna Akinwole – Plainfield High School
Each student will receive a $1,500 scholarship to support their continued education at the college or vocational school of their choice. Recipients were selected for their academic excellence, compelling application essays, and personal achievements that reflect the cooperative’s values of community, service, and leadership.
To celebrate their accomplishments, Hendricks Power hosted a recognition dinner on May 22, where students and their families gathered with cooperative leaders to reflect on the journey so far—and what’s ahead.
“Each year I am in awe of our applicants,” said Emily Thomas, Marketing Communications Manager at Hendricks Power. “It’s not just their academic achievements, but also the unwavering dedication they show to their communities. Their hard work, passion, and commitment is truly impressive and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future.”
Hendricks Power remains committed to supporting local youth and investing in the future of the communities it serves. Congratulations to the class of 2025!
Applications for the next year’s Commitment to Community Scholarships will be available in early 2026 at hendrickspower.com/scholarships.
