The free home energy audit is a free visit to members' homes to check air leaks, insulation, and other problems that cause homes to use more energy to cool in the summer and heat in the winter. Our energy advisor is trained and equipped to perform these tasks and more, such as determining how much energy electrical appliances use. He is knowledgeable about the latest technologies for heating, cooling, and lighting in a home, including heat pumps, compact fluorescent lights, and more.

Light Bulb Energy Saver

The link below will take you to a calculator which will provide you a savings estimate from using compact fluorescent light bulbs rather than regular incandescent bulbs. You can enter the number of hours used per day, along with the wattage and this calculator will provide you with the cost difference between bulbs along with a return on investment.
